Carpet Cleaning FAQs
-
Most homes should have carpets professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months to keep them looking fresh and extend their lifespan. If you have kids, pets, or high-traffic areas, we recommend cleaning every 6 to 12 months. For households with allergies or businesses with heavy foot traffic, every 3 to 6 months is ideal. Regular cleaning not only improves appearance and indoor air quality but also helps maintain your carpet manufacturer’s warranty. (Many carpet warranties require annual professional cleaning)

A typical carpet cleaning appointment usually takes 1–3 hours, but the exact time depends on a few factors.
Home size & number of rooms - A small apartment might take under an hour, while a large house could take several.
Furniture movement
Carpet condition - Heavily soiled or stained carpets may require extra pre-treatment.

To help us give you the best possible results, here are a few simple steps you can take before we arrive:
Clear small items: Pick up toys, shoes, floor lamps, and other small belongings from the carpeted areas.
Move light furniture if possible: We can work around larger pieces, but moving small tables and chairs helps us reach more of your carpet. (Upon request we will move reasonably sized furniture and use furniture tabs to prevent any furniture staining during the drying process)
Secure pets: For their safety and ours, please keep pets in a separate area while we work.
Point out spots or concerns: Let us know about any areas that need extra attention so we can treat them properly.
That’s it—our team will handle the rest!

Drying time can vary depending on the carpet type, level of soiling, and ventilation in your home. On average, carpets take 6–12 hours to dry completely after a professional cleaning. In some cases, especially in high humidity or with thick carpet, it may take up to 24 hours.
To speed up the drying process, we recommend:
Turning on ceiling fans or box fans
Opening windows when weather allows
Adjusting your thermostat or using your HVAC system for better airflow
We’ll leave your carpets clean, fresh, and only slightly damp—never soaking wet.
